Less Death is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the mission to mobilize the world’s top talent to work on maximizing healthy human lifespan. Our programs are designed to reach out to talented, passionate, mission-aligned scientists, engineers, investors and operators of diverse backgrounds and help them get oriented, get involved, accelerate their impact, and work together to break bottlenecks to progress in longevity biotech.

Matthew O'Connor‍Dr. O’Connor has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Baylor College of Medicine. His postdoctoral research included work at UC Berkeley on muscle stem cells and aging. He is the former VP of Research at SENS Research Foundation and is currently the CEO of Cyclarity Therapeutics.

Mark HamalainenMark’s career has progressed from manual bench work in academia, to lab automation at Synthego, to longevity movement building - always seeking better methods and higher leverage ways to accelerate progress.


Nathan Cheng

Nathan is a physics PhD dropout who made the jump to longevity, first by  writing the most read longevity  investing newsletter, then founding the ODLB community and Healthspan Capital - he wants to inspire others to make the similar leaps.
